"Customized Indianan instrument 'Pungi (Indian snake-charmers pipe)' and improvised with some effect processors. Set some rules like
1. Must be improvised
2. No use of prepared samples
3. No overdubs
before performing. Boomerang Kamata Trio was the result of the project meant to perform on stage.

Recorded in Jan, 2004. Got tired of playing with laptop then. Just got into composing and made almost 20 tracks at the beginning of the year (including tracks that can barely be called a 'song'). Set no theme when I made them since I believed that the pure improvisation meant 'staying away from meanings, choices and consequences.'
If there was one thing I could believe in, that would've been a flash of the moment. Or rather, it might have been the feel of putting my hands on the equipment without forcing myself. Kept playing and waiting for the feel in the room filled with tangled cables. So there was no theme then, but I'd like to analyze and present it here on ON-LI.
'More or less, yes'
Says yes on the main points, but says no on the details. It's not saying 'a little no' though. For the frame or the muscles, I'm not sure, but it seems that saying yes most of the time when asked to do something is a typical behavior of Japanese. And there's no wonder if I've inherited it in me in the country where the strange word 'yes men' has been spread out. Obviously, there's good and bad in this approach, but if you add 'more or less' before it, you'll get some time for thinking it over to come to the solution later. And I'd like to say 'that's good enough' when you get more benefit while in this stage than the benefit you get with the solution. There're many polarized concepts, and something that's left unsolved makes me feel unpleasant. It feels like something sweet gets stuck in my upper jaw, but at the same time, I long for the moment to stay forever." (From the On-Li's release page)
